Which double bass pedal would you recommend?

I'm thinking of switching to a double bass pedal for my kit. I'm currently using Pearl drums with mostly premier hard wear and have been checking out various Pearl pedals. I would like to hear from any fellow drummers out there with experience of different types and manufactures you would recommend or ones to avoid.

I use a Pearl. The only one I've found that compares is a Tama. I have little use for a double batter. Over the 45 years I've played, I've found that sometimes less is more.
