Padded Bag Fits

I have a backpack that I bought for my laptop that's also perfect for holding a ps3 . It has a velcro strap to hold it , padded interior and pockets that hold 2 controllers and a couple of games plus a large side pocket for the chord and cable . it's made by init . look around at electronics stores that sell computer accessories and you should be able to find one or something like it . it cost my only $40 too on sale . I have used mine to carry my ps3 to a friends place while on a motorcycle so it's pretty handy .
